OMG - My Mom noticed that I have no Paris photos on my Myspace page..... I responded that "I know, I haven't had time!" Only to realize just now that I have no digital Paris photos! However, I have digital London photos, so hopefully I can get some of those up there and she will enjoy checking them out!
I'll do it just for you, Mom!!

Nothing much to say

Well, I don't have a lot to say here, but since I created the blog, I figure I should write SOMEthing.
I'm a photographer. I DO try to consider myself an "artist," but I don't want people to think I'm better than I am. I don't want to sound as if I think I'm so good I should make a coffee table book or something. :-)
Anyway, my photography is the main reason that I wrote the note on my blog about copyright. Not that I'm "sooo freakin' great," but... my work is MY work and I don't really care for anyone else to try and claim it. Yeah, I'm picky that way.
I really LOVE photography. I wish I had time for more of it!
I started taking photos as a young kid. I was the photograper in the family. I remember being upset once because I wasn't IN any of the photos. My Mom said "but Brandy, you were TAKING all the photos!" Oh yeah. Duhhh! Still more comfortable on the "behind the lens" side of the camera, I do like to be IN photos sometimes so that I can remember great times with my friends!
I currently have about 4500 photos on my computer. I'm trying to delete, delete, delete because they're really bogging down my system!!! But when you go to far off places (London, in this case) and take photos, it's HARD to delete! You'll never have the chance to take that same photo again! Or, you'll have to pay a lot of $$ to do so.
Is this boring enough? 'Cause it's like 12:30am - and I'm tired! Trying to write creatively at 12:30am doesn't really come naturally to me. Hmmm. haha!
Ok, so my favorite thing to photograph is People and Nature. Sometimes I get something cool, like a train moving at me (the metro in London). You get cool effects! I have a "big" camera and a "little" camera. The little one stays in my purse so that I (hopefully) never miss something good (thanks honey!). I went to a fine-arts photography school in Seattle (Photographic Center Northwest) and learned with film, but have switched to digital because of the lack of darkroom & learning facilities here locally.
I hope to have time to take some workshops again when I'm done with nursing school...
And that's about all I got to say about that. For now anyway!
